Community Impact Ministries
A non-profit ministry based in Jacksonville, Florida. We are a husband and wife team offering a variety of services that involve feeding the homeless, providing clothing, counseling, seminars, outreach programs, and more. We focus our services and activities on helping out the less fortunate in Jacksonville and surrounding areas.
We are a faith-based ministry reaching out and teaching others in our community about God’s truth, compassion, and love. We have been ministers for over 35 years, offering services, help, and teaching to anyone who needs it, and anyone who receives the Word of God. We have been called by the Father to serve, and that has been our calling for many decades as we continue to serve for more years.
About CIM
Community Impact Ministries, a not-for-profit industry with a focus on helping the less fortunate by providing clothing, feeding programs, and other activities. We are based in Jacksonville, Florida, and we serve the communities in our city and surrounding areas. We are Wayne and Jodi Brown, a husband and wife team that has been serving under Jesus Christ for over 35 years. We have been in the field of ministry for over 3 decades, and together, we have served with Word of Life Fellowship in Local Church Ministries for over 21 years.
Wayne’s experiences in ministry include being a youth pastor, outreach coordinator, and being an evangelism director. He also served as the Homebound director at First Baptist Church in Jacksonville. He has a BA in Biblical Studies and a Masters in Counseling from Luther Rice Seminary. Jodi, on the other hand, studied nursing and worked in a hospital before becoming a full-time mom and homeschool teacher to their 3 daughters. She has a passion for serving in the ministry, as she has been counseling and offering services for the past 30 years. Some of her specialties include one-on-one discipleship, serving ladies of all walks of life, and mentoring young moms. Community Impact Ministries was established over 5 years ago to help us focus our work on serving others. It is a faith-based ministry with a mission to preach, teach, and serve the communities of Jacksonville and surrounding areas.
Wayne & Jodi
Wayne and Jodi have been married for and ministered together for over 35 years. Wayne has experience as a youth pastor, evangelism director, and outreach coordinator. He also served as the Homebound (Shut-In’s) director at First Baptist Church of Jacksonville. Together, they served with Word of Life Fellowship in Local Church Ministries for almost 22 years.
Wayne has a BA in Biblical Studies and a Masters in Counseling from Luther Rice Seminary. Jodi attended nursing school and worked in the hospital before becoming a full-time mom and homeschooling their 3 daughters. Wayne and Jodi now have 3 grown daughters, 5 grandchildren with one on the way, in December of 2021.
Jodi also has over 30 years of experience ministering to ladies and teens. She has a passion for one‐on‐one discipleship, mentoring young moms, and serving ladies in all different walks of life.
